NKT (Nordic Cable and Wire Factories) is founded in Copenhagen and starts production of wire products.
NKT establishes a wire mill in Middelfart, which becomes an important center for wire production.
NKT acquires Varde Jerntrådsspinderi and expands the production of woven thread and sieving media.
NKT sells the wire mill in Middelfart and the wire production to the American company Illinois Tool Works (ITW).
The Swedish company SPG AB acquires ITW Sigtevæv and continues production at Gl. Banegårdsvej 25 in Middelfart.
SPG is moving production to new premises at Falstersvej 11 in Middelfart.
Salesman Esben starts, and sales in Denmark accelerate.
SPG acquires Scangummi & Teknik ApS and expands its product range with rubber and polyurethane products.
The first salesperson in Germany is hired and sales in Germany begin.
SPG buys a plot of land at Barmstedt Allé 2 in Middelfart of 14,400 m², later expanded to 44,000 m².
Production is moved to Barmstedt Allé 2. Total area: 4,569 m² (438 m² office, 2,618 m² production, 1,513 m² warehouse).
Two new warehouses of 1,000 m² each are built, and the total area increases to 6,569 m² (438 m² office, 3,368 m² production, 2,763 m² warehouse).
